I’m content right now. Everything feels peaceful and calm. I’m listening to all the sounds happening. There’s crunching gravel, food being chopped, laughter, the birds, and the wind. There’s so much more too. Just now, I think Janet and her granddaughter (I think that’s her name) came by and gave us homemade cookies. I love the community here. They’re so supportive and giving. Yesterday, Laure (another neighbor) came by and gave us homemade tuna salad, a loaf of bread (which is a rare commodity), and some onions. We are so grateful and it tasted good. People around the camp were just talking about it and pointed out that we are all working and providing for the community, and they are providing food and praise and appreciation for us. It’s just an amazing feeling. I think that’s all for now.
