How will COVID-19 Affect P-CREW?

At Sierra Institute for Community and Environment the safety of our P-CREW members, field and office staff are of the utmost importance.  Our leadership team is dedicated to mitigating the risks and impacts of COVID-19.

In 2020, Sierra Institute developed extensive field crew policies and procedures for COVID-19 risk reduction and mitigation that were informed by best available science and compliant with local, state, and federally established guidelines. This allowed us to safely and successfully field P-CREW in 2020, 2021, and 2022. Sierra Institute continues to review and update our policies and procedures based on the best available information and currently requires all employees to be fully vaccinated and boosted.
